Bang & Olufsen (B&O) is an audio and visual system maker from Denmark. It all began in 1925 when Peter Bang and Sven Olufsen created a radio in the Olufsens’ home in northern Denmark. The biggest feature of their products is their excellent design. Their designs beautifully blend with the cutting-edge function and operation, and they have been rated highly, as the leading industrial design of audio equipments. Their products are well-established around the world, and until now, 16 of their products have been selected in MoMA’s permanent collection. From July 2006, B&O’s televisions became available in the Japanese market, but because their set (50-inch plasma display “BeoVision4” with system controller “Beo4”) cost more than 2 million yen, they are seldom seen in general electronic retailers. At SCAPES, in the room, “Saxe Blue”, we have equipped the 50-inch plasma display “BeoVision 4”, the system controller “Beo4”, the audio system “BeoCenter2”, the high-end speakers “BeoLab4”, “BeoLab 3500”, and the audio & visual controlling system “BeoSystem3”. As you may imagine, a room fully-equipped with Bang & Olufsen audio products are seldom seen, and we are very proud of this luxuriously coordinated room. Please enjoy thoroughly the wonderful acoustic world that begins with one remote control.
